|The Halberg Disability Sport Foundation aims to enhance the lives of physically disabled New Zealanders by enabling them to participate in sport and recreation. The Neurological Foundation is an independent body and charitable trust that raises funds to help neuroscientists complete leading-edge research into the prevention and cure of neurological disorders. The ultimate goal of this work is to greatly reduce the level of suffering and premature death from diseases of the brain and nervous system.
TGT recently assisted the foundation on a pro bono basis in relation to a will challenge that went to trial, where the Foundation was the primary beneficiary. The firm made a significant pro bono contribution to reduce the impact of legal costs on the bequest.
