RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Areas of practice include

Opinions on litigation related issues, including conflict of laws/jurisdiction issues;

Conduct of litigation and arbitration from initial taking of instructions, strategy advice, drafting pleadings, conduct of interlocutory stages, briefing of evidence and conduct of trials;

Representation of clients in Family Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, both as lead counsel and to assist Senior/Queens’ Counsel;

Managing junior team members in provision of assistance to Senior/Queens’ Counsel

Conduct of mediations and negotiating and drafting out-of-court settlement agreements;

Trust, estate and relationship property disputes; commercial/company disputes; applications to validate/rectify wills; family protection and testamentary promises disputes; real and personal property disputes;

Child contact and maintenance disputes, particularly those involving international and Hague Convention issues;

Applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 concerning exercise of powers of attorney / appointment of welfare guardians / property managers for incapacitated persons.
